I trained as a counsellor and hold a diploma in integrative counselling. I am also a member of the BACP and follow their ethical guidelines. I work with compassion and integrity, and by building client relationships based on mutual respect, which I believe helps with what you might be going through.
Your counselling can take a number of different forms as I work alongside each person in order to create a therapy that's tailored to meet their own specific needs. I work in an integrative way which includes a person centred humanistic approach combined with looking at the past for any patterns of behaviour. I also work with cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness. I am fully committed to my own personal and professional development as I believe this is key to being a competent practitioner.
I have worked with clients with body image issues, anxiety, depression, going through life changes, questioning their sexuality, grief, loss, redundancies, anger, coping with change and of late concerns on Covid-19. I work with you in the manner you prefer and at your pace.
I look forward to speaking with you.
